In addition to oats, I also added coconut and coconut oil for some healthy fats. Works like a charm. And this smoothie tastes amazing, sweet, thick, creamy, coconut-y and fruity. I was surprised by how much I liked the added texture in my smoothie. Smoothies are supposed to be smooth (hence the name … I know, I’m smart that way;) but the heartiness of the oats blended with the yogurt was delicious. As with all smoothies, feel free to adjust any measurements. Only use 1/4 cup oats got less texture, add more blueberries and yogurt for more body and stronger flavor, add
more milk to thin it out – its completely customizable!
