Milkshake for breakfasts for LIFE.
This milkshake’s ingredient list may sound deceptively like a smoothie.
It isn’t. It tastes like ice cream.
Abigail and I split one of these as part of breakfast this morning and after finishing our mason jar (which is adorable btw) she asked “can we do this every Thursday? Milkshakes for breakfast is fun!”
You might be seeing more milkshakes.
Any adjective that comes to your mind when you think of milkshake – creamy, smooth, cold, indulgent – applies here. The ice cream base is sweet subtle, letting the peaches and cinnamon be the more dominant flavors. Depending on how thick you like your milkshake, you can adjust the amount of milk used. I used a little more than 1/2 cup of unsweetened almond milk per 1 large banana and it was still thick, but not too thick for a straw.
Now, this is a really basic recipe. But healthy doesn’t have to be complicated! All natural, simply ingredients can combine to make amazing vegan treats.
Case in point.
Give these a whirl! I promise you, you will not be disappointed!

- 1-3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
